⚡Priya Varma❤️
"Priya! Wake up!"
I slowly opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling. My brain was still refusing to accept that morning had arrived.
"Bas five minutes aur..." I mumbled sleepily, pulling the blanket over my face.
My phone started ringing again.
I ignored it.
It rang for the second time.
Then the third.
With an irritated sigh, I finally picked it up.
"Hello?" I murmured, my voice still sleepy.
"HELLO?!" Ritika shouted from the other side. "Priya, tu abhi tak so rahi hai?!"
I slowly sat up and rubbed my eyes.
"Ritika... kya hua?"
"Kya hua?!" she exclaimed, clearly annoyed. "Aaj Monday hai!"
I froze.
"Monday?"
"Yes, madam. Monday!" she replied sarcastically.
"Aur aaj humein internship ke documents submit karne hain."
My eyes widened.
I immediately looked at the clock.
8:15 AM.
"Oh God!"
I jumped out of bed.
"Ritika, tune mujhe pehle kyun nahi uthaya?" I asked hurriedly, grabbing my clothes.
"Pehle?" she scoffed. "Main fifteen minutes se tujhe call kar rahi hoon!"
I stopped for a second.
"Oh..."
"Exactly!" she said triumphantly.
I sighed.
"Okay, okay. Main ready hoti hoon."
"Good. Aur sun..." Her voice suddenly became serious.
"Haan?"
"Thirty minutes. Main tujhe pick karne aa rahi hoon."
"Thirty minutes?! Ritika, that's impossible!"
"Impossible ko possible bana," she replied confidently.
Before I could argue, she ended the call.
I stared at my phone in disbelief.
"Best friend of the year," I muttered sarcastically.
At Home ...
Twenty minutes later, I rushed downstairs with my bag hanging from one shoulder.
Mom was sitting at the dining table.
She looked at me and smiled.
"Itni jaldi mein kahan ja rahi hai?" she asked curiously.
"Mom, internship ke documents submit karne hain," I replied hurriedly, adjusting my bag.
She nodded.
"Achhe se jaana aur time pe kuch kha lena."
"I will, Mom," I said with a small smile.
Before I could leave, my younger brother looked up from his breakfast.
"Didi..."
I turned around.
"Kya?"
He gave me a mischievous grin.
"Internship karne ja rahi ho ya koi ladka dekhne?"
I stared at him for a few seconds.
"Very funny."
He burst out laughing.
"Good luck, didi!"
I rolled my eyes.
"Bas kar!"
Mom laughed softly as I walked toward the door.
"Bye, Mom!"
"Bye, beta. Dhyan rakhna."
I smiled and stepped outside.
9:10 AM - College ...
Ritika was waiting near the college gate.
Beside her stood Varun Chauhan, leaning casually against the wall with his arms crossed.
The moment he saw me, he dramatically looked at his watch.
"Madam, finally!" Varun exclaimed, raising an eyebrow.
"Hum toh soch rahe the aaj aap aayengi hi nahi."
I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Don't start, Varun."
He grinned innocently.
"Maine kya kiya?"
Ritika crossed her arms and shook her head.
"Priya, tu hamesha late hoti hai."
I looked at both of them suspiciously.
"Tum dono ne plan kiya tha na mujhe irritate karne ka?"
Varun placed a hand over his heart dramatically.
"Hum? Never!"
Ritika laughed.
"Chal, drama band kar. Humein documents submit karne hain."
The three of us walked toward the administration building.
Ritika handed me a folder.
"Sab kuch andar hai," she explained, pointing toward the papers.
"Documents, project details aur internship letter."
I opened the folder.
My eyes stopped at the first page.
"OBEROI ENTERPRISES"
I looked at Ritika.
"Oberoi Enterprises?"
She nodded casually.
"Haan."
I looked at her again.
"Isn't that your family's company?"
She smiled.
"Haan."
Before I could say anything else, Varun suddenly looked at Ritika.
"Wait... tune isse abhi tak nahi bataya?"
Ritika immediately gave him a warning look.
"Varun."
He raised both hands.
"Okay, okay. Main chup hoon."
I frowned.
"Bataya kya nahi?"
Ritika sighed.
"My brother will be supervising your internship."
I blinked.
"Your brother?"
She nodded.
"Reyansh."
The moment I heard his name, I became quiet.
Reyansh Oberoi.
I hadn't properly seen him in years.
I still remembered him as Ritika's serious, slightly intimidating elder brother.
Varun noticed my silence.
He leaned closer with a teasing smile.
"Why are you suddenly so quiet?"
I looked at him.
"I'm not."
He raised an eyebrow.
"Tu definitely quiet hai."
Ritika laughed softly.
"Relax, Priya. He won't eat you."
I immediately glared at her.
"Ritika!"
She laughed.
"Arre, I'm just joking!"
I closed the folder and took a deep breath.
"Whatever.
It's just an internship."
Varun nodded seriously.
"Exactly."
He paused for a moment.
"Good luck."
I looked at him suspiciously.
"Why did you say that like I'm going to war?"
Varun tried to hide his smile.
"Kuch nahi."
Ritika and Varun exchanged a quick glance.
I noticed it.
"Kya?"
"Nothing," they both said together.
I rolled my eyes.
"Tum dono impossible ho."
We continued walking toward the administration office.
I thought it was just another college requirement.
Just another internship.
Just another few months of my life.
I had no idea that stepping into Oberoi Enterprises would change everything.
And most importantly...
I had no idea that Reyansh Oberoi was about to become the most unexpected chapter of my life.
